I was in a SERIOUS ACCIDENT where I totalled my car. I was very sore from my injuries. I was fifty miles outside Vegas, middle of no-where. Called TRIPLE A in INDIAN SPRINGS, NV". to have my car towed/. The *** tow truck driver they sent out was a ***! I told them where I wanted the car towed to, and he basically told me, where they where going to take it to, wherever, they felt like taking it to?. His *** BOSS told him to take me, and my car back the crash site, and leave me there.. If ,I didnt like it|. I did not even know where i was, when the driver dropped my car off his truck!. I thought he was going to give me a ride, then he just drove off and left me there.. I had to pay 60 DOLLARS, for a cab ride to my hotel'. that is THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECIEVED!! 1289bc2

AAA is far better to deal with then the towing contract company a past employer had. I never had to sit on the side of a highway for 7 hours with AAA, however had this done to me with GE. I was over a mile away from anyplace to find a drink ( water) in the middle of an oklahoma summer van did not run and tow company took 7 hours to get me. thank god a state trooper stopped to check on me, and he went and got me a couple bottles of water. and something to munch on. I have AAA premier and would not give it up for anything. Have had 3 tows in the last 4 months ( son has the name of crash) and each time the car was taken where i wanted it. I had to have my car towed 4 days after buying it and no problem with that either. longest i had to wait was a couple hours but car and I were in a fairly safe place. so i sat and watched the birds and deer. no big deal

I have used AAA about once a year. Always fast friendly service. I would contact the corporate office about the service you were provided so they can discontinue any contract with that service and they may even possibly reimburse you for your cab fee. That's totally unacceptable.

I have used AAA several times and have found them to be less than they should be. When broken down, stressed out, often far from home, these phone customer service agents tend to give the very worst service ever. I was once forced to allow being towed to "their" shop and when I got home, I had to take my car in for repair to their repair. AAA really is a terrible company, but what makes it worse, are the quality of tow companies they contract with.

Well Mr. Joe thats what they get paid to do. Unfortunatly there is a few bad apples in every batch. I too have had great service from AAA. Just not that time. :?

AAA is the best towing and insurance company i have ever seen or heard people talking about.I have had i dont know how many tows or jump starts or locked my keys in the car. they never second guess and never questions why. they just send somebody out as soon as they can and no questions asked. NOW THATS SERVICE

No sir Mr. Kieth, I am a AAA plus member towing up to 100 miles. So I assure you that was not the case.

I have used AAA roadside assistance four times over a five year period, twice for towing, twice for flat tire in the coldest part of winter, and once for dead battery. Each time I received prompt, curteous, efficient, and complete service. I do not use any of the insurance products AAA offers but I certainly am considering doing so when the need arises. I suspect that the Indian Springs experience of Captinjohn resulted from a failure to read the terms of service regarding the distance towed to the nearest repair facility and the someone's unpleasant demeanor.
